WHAT IS A COMPUTER SOFTWARE?

 

These are the non-physical components that make up a computer system.
The term "software" generally refers to all programs procedures and routines.

SYSTEM SOFTWARE 

 

This is a computer software designed to operate and control the computer hardware and to provide a platform for running application software. This is also responsible for supervising the activities of the CPU.Without an operating system (which is a system software), a computer will not be able to perform any task as defined by any software.

    

APPLICATION SOFTWARE

 

A program written by the computer programmer to obtain solutions to a variety of problems. This is designed to satisfy users specific needs.

TWO TYPES OF APPLICATION SOFTWARE

 

 Customized Software Created or developed according to specific requirements or specifications of a user to solve a particular problem.

  Package Software are ready made or are written program of common application that can be already used with minimal modification it needed.
